✩ A friend from work let me borrow his copy of Shelter and I FINALLY got around to watching it. It was absolutely adorable <333 Although the viewing was slightly tainted because my dad saw the DVD case and starts making comments about it being about two guys. And he ends the ridiculous conversation with "You won't get a boyfriend watching that." ........................ Yeah, okay. 1) That doesn't even make sense. 2) I don't want a boyfriend right now. 3) I would never date someone who was homophobic. 4) THAT WAS AN ALL AROUND STUPID, RUDE, INSENSITIVE THING TO SAY. UGH. But anyway, it didn't disappoint. Very cute :D

✩ Don't have work until 2pm tomorrow. Maybe I'll actually make some progress tidying my room and getting holiday stuff sent out *headdesk*

✩ Had a bad panic attack at the beginning of my shift at work today :( But at least there were some great people working with me who were being really nice and helped me get through it so I could do my shift. *sigh* It's just sad that there's this pattern where I get panic attacks on days that I'm looking forward to - like I need to sabotage my happiness or something :\

✩ On a happier note, I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas (or your holiday festivity of choice ;)) Hope it's relaxing and full of all that makes you happiest :D

✩ Had a panic attack at work for the first time in awhile today :( It's so draining and disheartening and makes me feel hopeless. *sigh* I hope it doesn't become a pattern again.

✩ Speaking of work, I just got my schedule for next week and I have a ton of long days including a five hour Christmas Eve shift x_x But at least I'll get off in time to have dinner and go to church with my family. After today my biggest concern is just managing the shifts without anxiety.

✩ Got my Christmas card from jaydblu today! Thank you so much!! <333 Definitely brightened my day :D I'm running behind on cards (and everything else) this year, but you will most definitely be receiving one from me as well :)

✩ About to head to bed. Have retail shifts in the afternoon and babysitting at night for the next two days. GAAAH, STOP THE WORLD I WANNA GET OFF.

✩ I finished everything for the fall semester today \o/ I had a bunch of research methods stuff to do (x__x), but it all seemed to go relatively smoothly. Now I have a break for about a month until the spring semester starts and I have my first internship experience *scared* But even though I'm done with school, I have SO much babysitting and retail work over the next few days. GAH I don't know when I'm going to get around to doing my own Christmas stuff.

✩ In real life news - got that supplementary essay for that political job turned in yesterday. We'll see if I hear anything else from them. And Banana Republic called and asked if I could work the days surrounding Thanksgiving and Christmas, and I said yes since we're going to be in town, so hopefully that'll work in my favor. I was hoping that would close the deal, but I guess he's asking all of the applicants before he makes a decision. So it's possible I will soon either have 1, 2, or STILL ZERO JOBS *doesn't like uncertainty*

And now, I think I'm gonna head out to an open house for the Counseling Department at one of the universities I'm considering for my masters. Gaaaaaaaaaaah all this stuff is making me anxious D:

✩ Here's another creation from the flist gift meme :D This is a little 5-song Dean/Cas EP for wandersfound <33 I tried my best with the cover - Dean's face was not being very cooperative in the cutting out process, lol. It's based on Matt Hires' "Out of the Dark," which I think is just the most perfect Dean/Cas song I've ever heard. I'd like to make a fanvid of it someday, but it kind of feels like too much of a daunting project to take on at the moment, and it would probably make my laptop explode.
