Hey everybody! I've been a long time lurker and a memeber for quite a bit, but I realized that I never introduced myself! My name is dani and I'm 17 years old. I've been a fan of Ewan's since Moulin Rouge but I recently became obsessed this past summer when I started watching a bunch of his movies. My favorites are Velvet Goldmine and (still) Moulin Rouge. I'm a musical person.

I have a question, has anyone heard the song "Time To Die" by Simon Boswell? It features Ewan, but he doesn't sing, just reads a couple monologues to music and screams a bit. I downloaded it on iTunes. Quite frankly, it's slightly terrifying haha.

Some news stories on the negotiations:

Hollywood actors, studios to renew labor talks - Reuters
SAG set to resume talks: Guild will return to negotiations May 28 or earlier - Variety

It's been incredibly quiet and I don't know if it's a positive sign or a negative sign but as it stands now, we have... about two months until shows start going back to filming (Early/Mid-July) but the impression I'm getting is that the studios are getting in the real numbers for how bad the Writers Strike hit Hollywood. It's really bad and it seems that with the quiet, everyone seems ready to go back to the table.

In other news, According to Nikki Finke's Blog, Dawn Ostroff won't be around to see the CW's early launch on September 1st. Which is a long time coming and hopefully might save the struggling network. But we all already had a discussion about this barely two days ago.

Program Used: Adobe Photoshop CS2

I found a tutorial once in the comm that has a picture on the background and in the foreground, there's a white layer with the use of the rounded rectangle tool showing the picture behind.

I'm sorry for not being specific and not providing an example.
